
From Πρέβεζα/Préveza to Λευκάδα/Lefkada
Once we had got ourselves up and organised, we hit the road for Lefkada, one of the islands off the north west coast of Greece. We thought it would be nice to spend a few days there, exploring, before heading to the Peloponnese.
The journey involved us driving through a tunnel under the sea to cross from Préveza to nearby Actium, having first taken several trips round the dual carriageway to catch the correct exit 🙈 This type of things is particularly stressful in a van when you’re also always on the lookout for roads/tunnels/bridges that may have height restrictions you weren’t aware of!
After the excitement of the underwater tunnel, we drove another 40 minutes or so to the west coast and crossed over the causeway from the mainland to the beautiful island of Lefkada.
