Algarve beaches: Praia da Lota
2nd February 2020: The beaches in Portugal are stunning. We have never seen anything like them. The first lot of beaches we encountered, at the eastern side of the Algarve, were wide open, endless white sandy beaches. Fabulous. Mid-Algarve, we came across stunning sandcliffs and sand dunes, and incredible rock structures and seastacks. The sea began to get rougher, the further west we travelled, and more surfer points started to appear! High cliffs and steep drops to beautiful coves were a feature at the south western point of the Algarve coast. All in all, just about everything you could ever hope for in a coastline ☀️💚
