Beaches of Portugal

Olwen’s top 5 beaches in Portugal
- Carvoeiro: I liked this beach and most of the time it was very warm. I also loved the town; it was pretty and they sold nice ice-creams. The beach was quite close to Silves which was convenient.
- Praia Nova: even though it was sometimes wavy at this beach, it was very lovely and I liked it a lot.
- Praia De Alvor: it’s very nice and very calming and quiet. I loved it a lot. We had to walk across lots of boardwalks to get to the beach.
- Praia Da Falésia: this beach was right beside our campsite, just a small walk, which was very convenient. It was wavy most of the time and the waves are good for using our body boards.
- Praia Da Galé: this beach was near our apartment in Guia. There was a rock Morgan and I used to climb on. Once Pip broke free from his leash and ran away chasing another dog. He didn’t run off the beach he just ran around the beach so it was ok.
My least favorite beach:
1. Carvalho: it was very unpleasant; for starters we weren’t even able to swim because it was too choppy. #2 it was very small and had very high cliffs which made me anxious that they were going to collapse and that wasn’t pleasant at all. #3 this is when Covid was happening; the beach was so small that loads of people were crowded in and I was scared that I was going to catch Covid, which wasn’t good (I didn’t catch Covid).
To conclude, my favourite beach in Portugal was: (drum roll please…) Carvoeiro!
THE END
Have a nice day 😀
